They directed a performance to be held only on the first day.
For the performers to move as “decoys of the surveillance system,” which is the theme of the work, we first experimented with the system. Based on a 40-minute repetition of a straight walk by two brothers with similar skeletons, the other performers explored the boundary between human and animal and composed movements and lines of flow so that they could approach the system. We also studied how to manipulate and film the system as a work of art. We also created a standard tempo and expressed it with marching drums. An object consisting of displays showing images from the human perspective, the system perspective, and the analyzed images was built facing the entrance. The audience could only watch the system and performers as they moved around.
